Ideal-tek S.A. was founded in 1968 by Franco Grisoni and Marco Grassi as Ideal-Outils s.a. to produce and sell precision tools for the watch, electronic and micro assembly industries. In 1979 ideal-Outils s.a. changed its name to Ideal-tek for sales purposes.
In the 80’s the new assembly technologies from electronics to mechanical engineering constantly point toward more and more complex miniaturization and in 1988 Ideal-tek moved its plants in Balerna to increase and automatize production capacity.
In the 90’s Ideal-Tek expanded the R&D capability in order to meet more complex customer requirements. Consequently has been the first pioneer in special plastic and ceramic tweezers for high demanding electronic and laboratory applications.
In 1994 Ideal-tek obtained the ISO9000 standards.
In 2001 Sandro Grisoni, Franco’s son, took over the Management to preserve the Ideal-tek company philosophy and at the same time Alberto Gotti, as production engineer, joined the company to continue the innovation make-up of Ideal-tek.
In 2003 Ideak-tek obtained the ISO9001/2000 Certification.
In 2008 Ideal-tek offices and warehouse have moved into a new building in order to increase production capacity and to develop new products lines.
Mektronics Australia is the authorised distributor for Ideal-Tek products within Australia and New Zealand.
